Rena Sofer

  Rena Sherel, born on December 2nd, 1968, is an American actress. She is most famous for her work on daytime television, occasional guest appearances as well as made-for-television film. Sofer was recognized with a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She was Quinn Fuller's role on the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013-2022.





 Childhood and early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) and a psychology professor and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox Rabbi.





 She moved with her father as well as her brother David to Teaneck, New Jersey, in 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. The family was located in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer resided in North Bergen, New Jersey, where her father was Rabbi of the synagogue Temple Beth El. After having graduated from North Bergen High School she went on to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played on General Hospital. Her first appearance came in 1993 as a manager of a band. The first time she was seen was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap drama Loving.
