Aisha Hinds, an American actress best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career acting in 2003. The role she played on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. However, it was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's right to rights) within the biography All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind finished filming in the last few days in the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's scheduled for release mid-2019. Her mother Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist who passed away in March of 2017 and the mom Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya Rai, the elder brother is a merchant marine engineer.
