Aisha Hinds, an American actress best known for playing roles in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven through TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she began her career acting in 2003. The role she played on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. However, it was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's right to rights) within the biography All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a 3rd season. Hind finished filming in the last few days in the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It's scheduled for release mid-2019. Her mother Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist who passed away in March of 2017 and the mom Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya Rai, the elder brother is a merchant marine engineer. Bachchan's older brother Aditya Rai wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her high school in Mumbai after moving to Mumbai along with her parents. Her intermediate studies were completed at Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% on the H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she studied the classical dance and music for five years. Zoology was one of her subjects. Bachchan took a course in Architecture after she won the title of Miss World. The title helped her get into the world of modeling. She was awarded lucrative contracts in the form of Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc. and the L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. Her acting career got off to a good start with her highly acclaimed roles on Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films challenged the fundamental structure that characterized Bollywood movies at the time, which pushed Bachchan to the forefront of her own New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the lover who was betrayed In Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's most successful films. It was also the first movie to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. She received great praise for her performance of Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's book. That same year, she became one of the very first Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played the lead role as a lead actress in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical and dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has been able to add her stunning beauty and glam to her debut major English film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most influential individuals in one place.
